I think the SFS was the only realistic option. 'My friend Jay Riemenschneider eats horse all the time. He gets it from his butcher. ' Um, WTF? U a fan of Andreas Moeller by chance? JF

I reckon that the Canterbury bulldogs home stadium at Homebush would be a reasonal alternative, if theres only to be 10-12,000 heading to each match. Although I think its actually an athletic track, and the seats are a fair way back from the touchline, the parking facilities are good, and it could bring a fair few Canterbury supporters across from league.
That said, as long as they can fill a reasonable amount of seats at the SFS, I much prefer it there. It is the best stadium in Australia, the perfect size and shape for creating atmosphere and theres loads of corporate/hospitality facilities. And you're close to heaps of pubs and that for hitting the p i s s afterwards.

I'm glad that the SFS has been selected as our home stadium. It's the best football stadium in state, and will be a great home for us.
One very easy way to drive fans away is to move home grounds every couple of years.

I think paramata stadium, Its a nice ground, there were only 9000 there for grand final and it looked quite full. I think the SFS is a nice stadium but very big and could ruin atmosphere. If they did use SFS they should close the upper tears of the 2 stands, keep the spectators close together. My home town team Bradford city have same problem fairly big stadium but get gates of 8000 the place looks empty. It would be good if they could build a purpose built stadium but that won't happen.TEXT
