We will need a reserve "Beer Opener" instead of an "Orange Peeler" for half time though what, just in case the primary beer opener pulls a hammy? Fergie looks like he opens quite a few beers, what with that gut n all!!

I reckon the Charity Shield idea is fantastic! I would not be able to play, but see it as a great opportunity to showcase healthy competition between rival clubs, and to start the A League support in a really positive light.
Can I suggest that a possible charity to benefit could be Jeans for Genes that raises money for research into kids diseases at the Children's Medical Research Institute in Westmead? Jeans for Genes Day is on first Friday in August each year so the timing would be good, and as it is national it would fit in with the national A League. As I have some contacts there, I'm sure I could get some good PR for both the charity and the two teams, in Sydney, the Coast and even other States.

That's me!! Twist tops, ring pulls; you name, I'll open it. A woman masquerading as a headless banana during a teen suicide charity football match between two sets of overweight, slightly inebriated groups of fans...... No wonder Dwight wants to come out here. Someone call Sports Tonight, we've got a story to tell!! what more could you ask for? its got everything the EPL wants (but are too toffy to ask for) and MORE

There are a thousand worthy charities out there, but I'm kinda sold on youth suicide at this stage.

Yeah 40 minute halfs it is then...
20 players per team plus 2 staff members.
I think shin pads are a good idea no matter how friendly the game is. Better safe then sorry and will look far more proffesional(if thats even an issue).
June 10th will be a great time to organise the sydney squad etc
Do we have any coachs/managers on the forums?

hmmm, think thats pushing it, maybe a training shirt... anything you can get. they shouldnt really have the need for the WCC shirts anymore so it would be worth asking to borrow those. otherwise nice blue reebok training shirts would be good too.
