Hmm I dont mind those uniforms. The very limited orange is acceptable. And the all blue is symbolising the state of NSW. I like it

I think you're having trouble seeing the wood for the trees sydneyfc04. I'm not talking about SydneyFC juniors. I mean EVERYONE playing in an associated competition under the Soccer NSW banner. These competitions are proudly listed on the SoccerNSW website- www.soccernsw.com.au/comps/It doesn't matter what the team's called either- you have to read the fine print, and get the lowdown on who's involved in the team, etc, and that's what I've been doing. Hence my negativity towards SydneyFC. I've long played under the SoccerNSW banner in many different competitions (and quite begrudgingly still do), yet have seen the quality of their product* drop year after year, while their fees keep rising *(ie what you get for your rego fees, etc, not the standard of play). For example, when Soccer NSW say their bid is all about bringing the "grassroots" and the "bigtime" closer, why is it they can pump all this money and resources into an A-League side, run an 18 team state league, yet can't recruit/provide enough referees for the grassroots players in the grassroots teams in the grassroots competitions?..... Not having a go at you mate, because you seem pretty young, I'm just trying to enlighten you a bit regarding my opinions.

Come on, Hassler, it's not 'soccernsw, the club', they don't even have a controlling stake.

Strange. Very strange. Go to the SoccerNSW website, and they have info there about them having links with SydneyFC, and "hoping to unite the NSW soccer family" etc. **What a load of bollocks!**
Also, it's been said many times publicly that they (SoccerNSW) have a 25% stake in Sydney FC, with Tom Doumanis being the head honcho at SoccerNSW putting his name and face to such statements. Also, why do you think they're in that photo of the unveiling of the jerseys there, with the two cartoon kids?.....
If any of you are players at any level (in NSW), just wait for your rego fees to skyrocket, if not this year, then maybe next, and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, they have a 25% stake. That does not make it a SoccerNSW owned team, Vic Soccer is being given a shitload of shares in Melb Victory, the club is not owned by Vic Soccer.
As for the CityvCountry, who gives a shit?
I hope you enjoy watching your three Glory games a season Hassler. Shouldn't you be on the Glory Boys site rather than here. Maybe not as I remember them getting pissed off with some rascist views you put on the message board.

I will be very upset if our regos rise on the Central Coast as we fall under the Soccer NSW management. If our regos rise to subsidise the Sydney team while nothing goes to the Mariners it would be very poor form.

The likely SFC strip and mascots...Notice the Nike shoes, though no Nike on the strip?? No Shin Pads either. Maybe Reebok will sponsor the Shin Pads and Magic Spray brought on from the trainers

Not too sure about that strip...when I look at it, I can't help but think that it belongs to Newcastle!

Think about how some other teams around the world (and here in Oz) have their strips.. Compared to their's this is perfect.

Hammer- owning 25% of something, and having a head honcho like Tom Doumanis in any kind of business is good enough to say they'll be the "controlling faction" in any Sydney FC decisions that are made.
Also, why is it you constantly bring the "racism" and my distrust of Jews (in general) into proceedings? I've said many times on here that I am Eccentric on the Gloryboys forum, still post there (in case you haven't read them in the past few days??) and don't hide any of those facts at all. Once again, I shall say it loud and clear, for those who don't understand:
The reason I'm not keen on SydneyFC is NOT because Lowy (being a Jew) holds a share in them. It is mainly because of the SoccerNSW involvement, who are a bunch of geese that couldn't run a chook raffle in a pub.
Also, Hammer, I'm quite interested to know exactly who you are? If you don't want to post at least your first name/ex NSL club/whatever else here, feel free to email me at neil9@bigblue.net.au telling me who you are, and how you know of/about me.
