I agree. It is all well and good to spend 90% of our time singing the more complicated songs, but it really is stupid and ignorant if we dont try to involve other supporters from the get go. How much could it hurt to try and get a simple sydney chant going around the stadium during crucial moments in the match??? How hard can it be for Sydney people to learn this old classic: We hate Melbourne and we hate Melbourne, we hate Melbourne and we hate Melbourne. We hate Melbourne and we hate Melbourne; we are the Melbourne haters! I think I was born knowing that one.

I'll be taking my camcorder up to Gosford to record the match. I'll convert the chants to mp3 and upload them to net. Yeah

This is my church This is where I heal my hurts
It's a natural grace Of watching young life shape It's in minor keys Solutions and remedies Enemies becoming friends When bitterness ends
This is my church This is my church This is where I heal my hurts For tonight God is a footballer.

on the theme of come on eileen....
Come on Sydney too loora yay Come on Sydney too loora yay Come on Sydney too loora yay Come on Sydney too loora yay
and so forth.... (slowly getting faster, from the bridge-type part of the song)
Any chant to do with Come On Eileen cannot be a bad thing.

Sydney's the best and we got the Harbour Bridge, Harbour Bridge, Harbour Bridge. Melbourne are crap and they've got the Smelly Yarra, Smelly Yarra, Smelly Yarra, Sydney plays great and we got the Opera House, Opera House, Opera House. Victory can't play and the've got the Smelly Yarra, Smell Yarra,Smelly Yarra. Sydney will win and we'll swim at Bondi Beach, Bondi beach, Bondi Beach But no one wants to swim in the Smelly Yarra, Smelly Yarra, Smelly Yarra.

If we've been singled out as the club the rest of the league hates/ is jealous of we might as well rip off Millwall's "no one likes us" song.
Tune: ("I am sailing", Rod Stweart)
verse 1 We are Sydney, Super Sydney! We are Sydney, Sydney FC We are Sydney, Super Sydney We are Sydney, Sydney FC.
Verse 2 No one likes us, no one likes us no one likes us, we don't care we are Sydney, super Sydney no one likes us, we don't care.
Others have suggested that we need to get the whole crowd involved (at least occasionally) in the atmosphere, so how about this is the simplest possible chant/song for the non Bay 23ers. Why don’t we just sing “Sydney” to the tune of “Ere we go, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we go”. Of course, it doesn’t fit as nicely as Liverpool or Everton so we’ll have to bash it into shape the same way Arsenal and England do (“Arsernal, Arsernal, Arsernal” and “Ingerland, Ingerland, Ingerland”).
So how about “Syderney, Syderney, Syderney”<br>

Tune: "Hey Jude" by the Beatles and good thing about that one is that it can be repeated over and over and over, just like the orignal song ;D ManUre use it for Roy Keane - Naaaa Naaaa Naa NananaNaa NAANANAA KEEANOOO, etc etc etc

And the winner is? everyone - Sydney
repeat this a few times and the crowd can get involved.

I thought of one:
Arsenal fans have a chant for Vieira which goes along the lines of:
Vieira! Whoo-ah-ooh Vieira! Whoo-ah-ooh He come's from Senegal He plays for Arsenal Vieira! Whoo-ah-ooh
I thought we could modify it for Yorke:
Dwight Yorke! Whoo-ah-ooh Dwight Yorke! Whoo-ah-ooh He's from the Carribean He scores goals for fun Dwight Yorke! Whoo-ah-ooh
