Hey guys ... firstly sorry that I haven't responded to some of the questions in my side of the forum ... i am in Tahiti and unfortunately, access to the internet is somewhat limited. I am back on Sunday and i will get to everyone.
We are in the Final !!!!
Let me tell you it has not been as easy as you may think!
Firstly, the pitch, the conditions and some 'additional difficulties' have meant that each game is like a mine field.
The team has been outstanding though, and the fitness built up via our superb coaching staff has been the telling factor.
Now for Magenta ... they have been the standout performer of all the opposition.
They would be competitive in the A League ... they have a good goalkeeper, two excellent centrebacks, one good fullback (the other is relatively weak). The midfield is strong (particularly going forward) Their number 10, would go close to being the player of the tournament ... a real danger man. The number 7 is a workhorse ... tough and fast.
Their forward line is very quick ... the number 11 is a real danger ... much faster than any forward in the A League. His one-twos with the number 10 has opened every defence they have played so far.
It will be tough in the final ... don't expect a runaway score ! But ... our boys are focussed, we have no major injuries (other than Rudan) ... and they desperately want to go to japan.
Fingers crossed.
cheers
Walter Bugno

Walter Rules !
Thanks for the update mate ! Now i feel all worried about playing Magenta. One of their players could be man of the tournament...they could compete in the A-League.....one-two's that open up defences. They have the fastest man in the A-league (and they arent even in it). Im all of a sudden nervous. hehe

Have to give Walter credit here. If I was swanning around an island paradise, I wouldn't bother posting to us.
Cheers mate.

Have to give Walter credit here. If I was swanning around an island paradise, I wouldn't bother posting to us. He was kicked out of the town brothel on the first night, now theres nothing else to do!!! Only joking...
