I don't think anyone has mentioned this but we get two spots in the ACL, so you could have the top placed side from the league matches given the first spot and then the winner of the GF gets the other spot. Cus SFC going to win both then the other finialist quailfiers. The FFA haven't said how the teams are going to be decided, but i think this is the best way until we get a KO Cup happening. This way you get both euro style and aussie style. The overall winner is still the GF winners, but one of the main objectives for all the teams is to get into Asia, so the winner of the league can achieve that objective. If there are 2 spots from australia in the ACL then i think this method would be very smart indeed. Its the best of both worlds. I really can't see the A-league not having a finals system.
