Anyone here apply for 2006 World Cup tickets? I have just been notified I was successful in getting Cat. 2 tickets to the AufSchalke arena on the 21st of June 2006. Group match D1 vs D4 - So I will get to see a first seeded team, awesome! And the AufSchalke arena is one of the main stadiums I want to see. Out of my applications to 7 match's only one was successful but apparently it averaged a 1 in 4.3 chance to get tickets to any one event. Anyone else looking at going over for this? I can't wait!!

Im going if Australia makes it for sure. If they dont, im still considering it if i can find a mate to go with. I'll get tickets when the FFA get an allocation.

I'll get tickets when the FFA get an allocation. That's probably my fourth option for more tickets. Don't the FFA allocation go to superexpensive travel + ticket packages though?

They are in phase 2 of ticket selling now. Just the remainder of the Team Specific Tickets on a first come first served basis. Probably is a good chance to get Australian ones.
I am not going for any as I will be staying near the Ruhr and am kind of unwilling to have to travel all over the Germany following a team. But if Aussies make it I will do my best to see at least one game.
