Rudan will help the team no doubt. He's no marquee player but he will be an asset. He's a solid player, experienced and fairly consistent so he can't hurt the team.
But what about Ante Juric, Paul Kohler & Troy Halpin. These three are not getting a mention anywhere.
Juric is all class and a proven leader.
Kohler is probably one of the fittest players going around and a guy that can really do a marking job for you. He can play in the backs or as a defensive midfielder and will never let his team down...
and as for Halpin..I mean what can't you say about this guy?.. Halpin has the ability to turn a game on it's head with one outrageous pass that only he can deliver (in this country). His skill is world class and surely worth a look. I would pay the admission just to see him play..

The truth is Halpin dumped Olympic not the other way around. ;D
As for the NSL standard players we have signed so far..what do you really expect? I mean we have over 150 aussies playing in competitions overseas most of whom have played in the NSL...

I am an Olympic fan !
John Doyle though it best to bench Halpin last week before the match against Manly because he felt Halpin's style may not suit the opposition and the system he wanted to play for this match. But then Doyle thought it best to leave Troy in the stands and not "embarass" a senior player such as Halpin by placing him on the bench.. So Halpin watched the game from the stands and then asked for his contract to be released the next day..
