I t seems the word Bling is becoming more and more popular. Now a Campbelltown art festival is going by the name of 'Ctown Bling'. This will feature the popular sub cultures of hip hop, graffiti and wait for it, Stencil Art.

Becoming more popular?
These people (involved in hip-hop/graff) have always used the word, it has nothing to do with it becoming more popular..

And every time you say that you up the chances of our opponents using it as a wind-up.
The entire reason for the whole bling thing was to take away a potential wind-up from our opponents by embracing it and laughing at it.
Every time you whine about it being stupid and embarrasing you are encouraging the tards and all the other second-rate knob-ends who are looking to get under our skin.
How will you react when the Newcastle fans sing "You can shove your f&^5ing bling bling up your arse"? (They'll never know unless someone reads it to them, don't worry)
Will you go bright red and try to explain that you also find the bling tag embarrasing or will you wave your giant iced gold pendant at them and cheer? Or will you just ignore them and hope they go away.
I know which of those three would be the more effective.
I know which of those three is the better laugh.
I know which of those three I'll be doing.
Make your own choice but for your own sake stop giving the other lot ammo.

Well said Jubal
Do we have a count on the number of bling posts versus the number of name posts ?

Nah you are wrong, it has nothing to do with Tards or any other idiots. It is more related to embarrasment we are putting on ourselves by using the phrase. When others call us "bling" it doesn't offend anyone, we all know we love it, when we use it for ourselves we are putting ourselves down.

It's having a bit of a laugh over others attempts to put us down. We need to stop being so serious about these things. I can see alot worse being thrown at us as the season nears.

God you guys are sensitive. The only abuse regarding Bling that I have seen from other supporters have been those informing us of how ridiculous it is.
It's not funny any more.
