That's been around for about 5 weeks now. Kit won't be out until at least a squad is assembled!

Just heard on good authority that the kit sponsor for the A-League is REEBOK! The papers car now confirming that Reebok will become a sponsor for the league and make all the strips. Lets home the clubs look different. I'm rather happy it's not Nike.

Considering that the ASA annouced a while ago that they would be in charge of the league merchandise and then distribute revenues equally to all clubs, then this announcement makes sence. Getting 1 manufacturer with established distribution channels, to produce for all the teams means that each club will have equal and professional representation in stores etc.
I don't feel that the strips will be generic and hence mimic eachother, i'm sure both reebok and the ASA are aware at how bad that would look. I think this is a great move!

One thing I don't get. With Nike the kit supplier for the national teams, wouldn't it be common sense to have Nike do the strips for the A-League teams as well? I'd actually prefer to have a Nike strip but I'm not gonna be complaining with Reebok.

The fact that so many companies are interested in our League is great.. Though im interested to see what type of sponsors the actual teams get.....

I imagine that they will all be high profile companies. Having Hyundai as the league's sponsor indicate that big companies will be willing to get behind the new league.

Not just big companies, but big companies willing to spend money to promote the game, and a history of supporting football around the world. It's looking good.

Yeah, I'm very pleased with the way Football Australia has handled the sponsorship area of the new league. Hyundai are great sponsors to have, Nike as well for the NT and if Reebok join the a-league teams then it will be a great collection of sponsors.

Off the top of my head Bolton wear a reebok strip, its not bad. But then again anything is better then this ridiculous 'common nike strip' that so many NT's are wearing.

Apparently Liverpool with have a new strip next year and the A League will be have the same cutting edge design and style. Obviously it won't be the same as Liverpools strip but at least it will be the latest in design coming out of Europe.
