You are my Sydney, my only Sydney,
You make me happy when skies are grey,
You'll never notice how much I love you,
Please don't take my Sydney away.

I'd rather be a paki than a vic "Oh I'd rather be from Baghdad, than Melbourne/Gosford/Perth." Or one I learnt from a Spurs fan who used to go to Swans games. "Ei-di Ei-di Eido-oh at the football, here we go We're Sydney supporters This is what we sing WE ARE SYDNEY-SUPER SYDNEY WE ARE FOOTBALL KINGS ....(ugh, last line wrecks it, doesn't it. ) JF

"One nil down, Five One Up, Two World Wars and One World Cup" LOL. Pretty funny, I will admit Andy. How about "Rule Australia Australia rules the grass you can stick your 3 Lions up your arse!" or "3-1 at your club's home ground" or "Shim shimmenee shim shimmineee shim shim sharoo 22 Englishmen BEATEN BY 2!" We have to make Aussie stadium look like celtic park...at the beginning of the games we all hold our scarfs up and deepen our voices and yell out our songs...i fink we need to go to england for help with this department...they are the best at singing hands down...go to www.socceraddicts.com for some good ideas...and we cant sound like little six years old...like the NBL and that netball shit...keep thinking lads...

has anyone seen the celtic fans hold up their scarfs and sing before the games start??....is that a good idea?? At Spirit we used to hold them up during the national anthem. Kind of out of forced respect, in the face of so many ethnic supporters wanting to sing the Greek or Croat one instead. img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/swansbear/BobStandscarvesvsMarconi.jpg[/IMG]When there were 18000 in the ground, the Bob used to look awesome when all of us held our scarves up, I tell you. has anyone seen the celtic fans hold up their scarfs and sing before the games start??....is that a good idea?? Yes good idea. They sing You'll Never Walk alone just as Liverpool FC do, but SydneyFC should be unique and relate to something of our own.
