Just thought of a song whilst in the shower.. lol When we're loosing (wont be sung very often then ) "Always look on the bright side of life, dadadadadadada Always look on the bright side of life, dadaddadadada! At least we're not called Victory, or even worse Perth Glory, the Mariners or the Lions: id be fuking cryin! So always look on the bright side of life, dadaddaddaddadda!" Just off the top of my head, its not bad though?

Second that REM option! /quote] Thanks I think we should discuss our opposition chants off the forum though, we don't want them knowing our lyrics just yet.

You'll [glow=red,2,300]always[/glow] hear the Glory sing, no matter what.
I live in Sydney so intend going to Sydney FC games even when the Glory aren't playing. I'm a bit worried about the potential lame-ass atmosphere though, ie like at Parra Stadium where the security chucked you out for any song with a swear word in it.
The whole family approach is one thing, but if they make the whole thing sterile, it'll alienate a lot of genuine soccer fans.

What about "a pub with no beer"
And about the language. if englands most famous can have "you'll never walk alone" & "Swing low sweet chariot" which contain 0 swear words the shorely we can be just as good as the poms

There wont be too many issues at Aussie Stadium (as opposed to Parramatta's nazi security) if the recent Aussie games are anythign to go by. FFS, they didnt even bother picking up the flares ripped!

Gday Macca, how ya goin mate, long time no see
Wat about the good old Parra Power song.
"On the West Side of the Harbour, Where the (teram playing) Glory have never been, There was a bunch of yobbos called the Sydney Supporter Team, Where a bunch of loud mouthed arseholes, Where the Sydney Supporter Team"
Or rearange the tune to Golden Valley Gold. The way we used to do it in bay 41 was put our players names in it for example "Go The Blue and gold, Lots of goals, none conceeded, Go The blue and Gold, The (team playing) Glory will lose tonight, With goals from Langdon, Maloney and Cardozo, Thommo, O'Sullivan The list it just goes on, And the only place to see, Is Aussie Stadium"
Plus I have a drum that I will be bringing to the Sydney home games. Plus the State games for Blacktown City Demons. GO THE DEMONS !!!!!!!
