One day the Roar will sign one of their trialists I suppose!! I'm not sure about the idea of guest appearances, I think it detracts from our league in some aspects. I'd much rather see at least season long contracts so we are'nt in the situation of having players past their peak coming out for a kickabout on their family holiday.

i think its a good idea but only when needed. Say sydney are getting an average of 20,000 but with 5 home games to go we are only getting say 11,000 crowds now what we do is for the last 2 home games get a guest player say a dessailly etc to come and he will boost it back to 20,000

Walter has said that we won't be having any guest appearances players as The Club feels it would cause too many problems amongst the players.
We signed our 20 players. Let's show some faith in them.

oh what can i say nicola berti all the hype and all he showed on the pitch was the reason not to bring in guest players. it was a good idea at the time i spose but really just the wrong bloke
