I know this is football related but didn't know what other forum to put it in.
How many of us were spirit supporters? seems to be quiet a few of us on here.
Anyone know who there majority of macs will be supporting, if anyone?

I'm in contact with a few of the Macs. Some are supporting Sydney FC and I have heard a few are now living on the Central Coast so I guess they will follow the Central Coast.

I went to many Spirit games, just didn't get involved with the groups much. Although, it was fookin rock 'n' roll sitting with the lads from time to time.

Well, I'm still around (ironically just after I started working in North Sydney, the bloody club up and moves to Brookvale / Pitthingyer!!).
I guess I'm still working out how seriously I'm going to take the new A-League.. But if I'm supporting a club, it'll be SFC.

I'm here. Yes, a little tentative about getting involved, for a multitude of reasons. But I'll be thereabouts no doubt. Just hope too many matches don't clash with Swans games. JF

How interesting. The word "pitthingyer" is flagged as a censored word.

I dream of a northern sydney team taking part in this new comp some years down the track but I won't be holding my breath.
Looks like it's sydney FC for now.

The Yids from the Mac will all be at Sydney FC + a few more. Probably about 10-15 of us at every home game.

As for Mariners, may not be the name the CC take into the A-League. As for former Spirit supporters, well the logo says it all

How interesting. The word "pitthingyer" is flagged as a censored word. I know. Weird, hey. You have to say Pitt/water. I wonder why they'd bother to censor a word like that. Maybe proboards is connected to Rangers and are looking to hide from paying Gelonesi's cash? JF
