How about locking this one so no new posts can be made and then should SFCU go down for any reason then this can be unlocked and we can move back should the need arise.
Is that a possibility?

I have grown used to these forums but am fully prepared to make the move over to the new forums. We could keep these forums around for a while but just lock them up yeh? Big props to SFC who took the first step in creating these forums though. They have been an absolute success mate. so where do we go for our sydney shirt lifting now

Probably smartest thing to do is close this one down and all move to SFCU.

I agree with some of you that we either choose one or the other. I think a decision should be reached soon. Personally I dont mind either.

I think one or the other, but not both - and the new site does look great, although people will get left behind. However, a couple of concerns to address:
1. All people who've signed up on here should be notified of the change (is it possible for the moderators to email everyone?) as it happens, as there are a large number of members who only infrequently come on here, and might get left behind.
2. One of my favourite features is Walter Bugno's section, answering the questions that the rest of us can only speculate on. I think that should somehow be brought across, and if too difficult, perhaps even looking at someone like Andy Harper (who works full-time promoting the club) for answering our questions.

bigred,
I'm 99% sure Walter B will have a board on jubal's site. He's already registered there and is waiting for the "official" word as to start posting there instead.
HTH
as for point 1) -> PM the admins asking this
cheers
