So Pete, what happens when we do our loud, beer swilling, singing, chanting, rowdy supporter thing and people that bought tickets in The Cove discover that they shouldn't have?

Hi Matto,
The Cove is a reserved bay (bay 23) of unreserved seats. So once the pass holder enters bay 23 they can sit where they please.

Hi Hillbilly,
We have done our best to let people know what the atmosphere will be like in the cove, and I think common sense would also tell them what it will be like.
However, in saying that, note that the Cove will be under the same code of conduct standards as the rest of the stadium. So if people have had too much to drink or are using offensive language, or causing disturbances, they can be ejected from the stadium.
But that is really common sense decent human behaviour...

Its really just common sense. I think in the Cove region, people know that their will be banners and flags obstructing your view from time to time, or singing / cheering so you may not hear the announcer. Those sorts of things are not an issue at all, and somewhat expected.
Im more just saying that because someone has a Cove pass, it still means they are bound to the entry policies of the Stadium, and will be under constant security surveillance. (as is the rest of the venue for that matter)

Those sorts of things are not an issue at all, and somewhat expected. Sorry to be a pain but I'm not sure that they do know this - there was nothing at all in the brochure suggesting this, only that the cove is "colourful, atmospheric and fanatical". In terms of Australian crowds this could be anything. I agree with the general in that the worry is that people have gone for the cove tickets simply as they're the cheaper option, rather than because they want to join in on the chanting etc. Anyway let's hope I'm wrong and am just overly pessimistic, and this won't be an issue.
