Jubal took a very illegible list of drunk people who may want to play. It may still exist.

When is the game scheduled to be? If it's not for a while I'm in (pulled my hamstring playing last week).

It's actually mostly readable
best to start a new list
I nominate myself as manager
I'm scottish, failed footballer, chubby, opinionated, deluded, love shouting at people and telling them what to do, own a suit, am foreign ( a must in Oz) and I can swear in 4 languages.
I am the bastard child of Alex Ferguson and Lady Di

It's actually mostly readable best to start a new list In that case, I am happy to play Goalkeeper. I played that at School and in some Corporate Games events - but if anyone plays more regularily than I do (and owns gloves) they can keep if they want I am happy to get a run somewhere else on the park. There was talk about having a kick and BBQ, maybe we should do this before the Charity Shield and make it a pseudofundraiser for the fund. If there is going to be a team of 20 maybe a casual game of 10 v 10? Or 7 v 7 with reserves?

Der Kaiser. I will play keeper for 2nd half if you want. I play on weekends. You can use my smelly, mouldy gloves as well if you want.

We are planning for the 'Marinators Charity Shield' to be held on Sat the 16th July. At this stage we are still to confirm the actual venue. We are having a meeting about the match Sunday 12th June. sydneyfc-unofficial.com is kindly donating the actual trophy (thanks again Jubal1!) that will be a perpetual trophy to be held by the winners until the following match 1 year later. (we've already organised a spot for it in the Leagues club bar...sorry guys. hahahah) We'll get back to you as soon as we have more info. Looking forward to making this a real fun occasion that will go on from strength to strength in years to come and show the media (not to mention the rest of the viewing population) what the 'new' footy supporters are all about. If we get this right guys, the FFA will be right behind us in the future!

I remember signing up for this one a while ago. Right-back or right midfield is my preference...
