Just a quick question. Arent Flares classed as fireworks?? If so I can understand the fact the security would go after them as Fireworks are banned in all states except ACT. I have no problem with flags, chants and the like. But if you make atmosphere then make sure its isnt to the detremant of people around you. Most people dont like beer thrown on them.

Haha, yeah good one. Of course they do, if they didn't the MacTerrace would not have been full week in week out. So now it sems we need the following sections: Standing, Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and Drummers section Standing, Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section Standing, Flag Waving, No Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section Standing, No Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section - probably where most people I know will be. Sitters, Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and Drummers section Sitters, Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section Sitters, Flag Waving, No Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section Sitters, No Flag Waving, Beer Throwing, Singers and No Drummers section Lucky bay 23 is quite large.

Most people dont like beer thrown on them. That's one of the things that have to be done when a goal is scored. The Club like is as well as beers sales go up everytime we score.

But that is also wastage of beer!!! :'(Only Queenslanders waste beer!! And footballing ultras mate! I loved it when Australia beat England 3-1 and we were all going berserk at One World Sport. Just like at the football, drinks were starting to fly. Then these nobheads in their ties and suits eating their breakfast in the middle of us all got the shits. I drink SPIRITs . But at SFS prices, I'll not be wasting to many bourbons in Bay 23, thank you very much. JF PS:- Tancredopoulos, you back in Oz mate?

"Then these nobheads in their ties and suits eating their breakfast in the middle of us all got the nutss." Wonder why..... Well what sort of dickhead would turn up to a soccer pub for such an all-important game and just sit there like stupid cardboard eating their bacon and eggs. Luckily such bandwagonners were gone by the time we were singing and dancing on the tables. "3-1 to the Socceroos" Anyone else planning on going to the Confederations Cup in Germany. "Achtung Deutschland, Australien ist dabei!" JF

liquid is pretty dangerous after spraying out over 2 meter radius and falling 1-2 meters onto someones vunerable back/head!!. Liquad is there to be drunk.. In large quantities too. NOT to be sprayed over somes elses clothing. You may have $150+ to continue purchasing supporters gear but most people dont.. Start throwing around bear and flares and you'll end up with an empty stadium. Ever wonder why the Tigers in Leichhardt have 18,000 to their nite games. Huge atmosphere (singing chants), beer drinking, flags. BUT no flares and throwing projectiles liquad or otherwise.

Why did we have to bring f**king rugby league into this? Have you ever been to a FOOTBALL game in your life Blues? Even at Australia-Solomons the Green and Gold Army made an excellent atmosphere, with us up the back giving non-stop support, despite the ticket f**k-ups and people wanting to sit because the game was over after 10 minutes. Even Matthew Burton (A spirit fan who one put me at the top of his deathwish list) came up and congratulated me on a good night's singing. Please do NOT compare rugby league 'atmosphere' to that of the global football. JF

That's one of the things that have to be done when a goal is scored. The Club like is as well as beers sales go up everytime we score. I thought it was compulsory. Disallowed goals are a pisser however. Is there a thread on which local pub will be the new haunt yet?

Just trying to point it out that we arent europe. Start doing things like in europe with the beer and flares and the SFS will be a ghost town.. I hope it isnt. This is pretty much the last chance of getting a great league going. 1 more screw up and football might as well be dead for all the good it will do in Oz. (senior wise).
Oh and why not take ideas of other codes who are rolling in with the money and talent?

This whole issue will really be solved if we ensure bay23 is designated as a vocal/rowdy supporters area away frpm families. Beer throwing and swearing is compulsary at games, flares although i love them will cause a few more problems.

Just trying to point it out that we arent europe. Start doing things like in europe with the beer and flares and the SFS will be a ghost town.. Just a small thing, I have watched football games in four countries and have yet to encounter "beer chucking" in any but for this one. This itself seems to be a development of the unique Aussie fan identity you're asking for Blues. Also, anybody who is living in fantasy world that flares will be allowed are fooling themselves. The security at SFS set the attack dogs on you if you have so much as a sparkler. Get over it.
