Hi all, first time writer, long time reader. I woke up in the middle of the night with this in my head. Thought it might work out as a decent chant. To the theme of "My Island GoatMy Sydney Yorkey, Orcy, Orcy, Orcy, Orcy, Was feelin’ finey, iney, iney, iney, iney, He scored a goalie, olie, olie, oile (can replace "a goalie" with two goalies or three ;D), From off the liney, iney, iney, iney, iney.
The whistle blewey, owie, owie, owie, owie, The crowd went upie, upie, upie, up, My Sydney teamie, emie, emie, emie, emie Was sure to fly, eaye, eaye, eaye, eaye!If you want a more generic chant (ie for any goal scored rather than just Yorke) you could start it: My Sydney Boyzy, Oizy, Oizy, Oizy, Oizy, Were feelin’ finey, iney, iney, iney, iney, They scored a goalie, olie, olie, oile………etc Cheers all.

Just a simple one here. Based on what the Scousers were singing so successfully in Istanbul yesterday.
"syd-neeeeeee FC (tone goes up) Syd-neeeeeee FC" (tone going down)
Anyone like?

To the tune of "The Adams Family"Your father is your mother Your cousin is your brother It's cos you shag each other The Melbourne family LOL, that's as funny as it gets. Would make more sense if it was "you brother is your father, your cousin is your mother". Still it's bloody funny. How about this one, obviously it needs a bit of work..... To the tune of ‘Up there Cazaly’ (thought I'd steal their AFL tune and throw it back at them) Up yours to Melbourne, Up yours Victory. We are the Sydney, Mighty Sydney FC. I’ve had your sister, We’ve all had your mum. Now go back to Melbourne With the rest of the scum

Yah, and I quite like it. Same. Easy to start, get going and sounds good. One the entire crowd can get stuck into without sounding like a Sydney Swans crowd.
