Qu escapes unharmed SBS
Adelaide United's marquee signing Shengqing Qu has miraculously escaped unharmed following a pedestrian accident, where he was hit by a car while crossing the road.
Qu spent the day being examined following the accident but was cleared of any breaks, escaping with only minor bruising and concussion.
The club released a statement confirming their star Chinese import was "doing fine" and that coach John Kosmina was confident to have him back in training "by the end of the week".

Im not being racist but as you all may or may/not know I live in Campsie. Over 70% of the population here is of Asian origin. One thing they tend to do down the main street of Campsie is just walk across it without looking. When they do see you approaching them in your car they just keep walking not even trying to hurry up. I have seen many smashes and pedestrians injured in Campsie. Wierd huh ?

She walked straight out in front of me and bounced off the bonnet. No damage done, she lost her shopping but was up and gone in a flash. Tough little thing she was.

I dunno how the CBD of chatswood can have so many pedestrian crossings and yet idiots still just step out onto the road when/where ever they want... i spend alot of my time scaring them and leaning on my horn... hehehe

Yeah they do it everywhere it seems. Those that drive cars are terrible aswell, as they either go a max speed of 30kms or they dunt look where they are driving and end up on the other side of the bloody road.

Christ you lot don't half talk shit.
Have any of you actually spent any real time in an Asian country, ever driven there? And no, 2 weeks in Bali don't count
I lived and worked in Japan, China, Singapore and Hong King for 11 years and the worst drivers by a country mile that I have ever experienced, live in Sydney, f**king arrogant, ignorant, selfish, stupid arseholes determined to f**k over everyone else to save 10 seconds, I have seen 3 road accidents in 2 weeks on Pacific Highway and not an Asian in sight, every one was caused by a white male 18-25 driving TOO f**kING FAST.
In 7 1/2 years of living in Tokyo with 20 million Japanese, I saw ONE road accident, (mind you that was a truck flew off an overhead expressway and landed on a couple of taxis)
If you want to slate people's driving, slate the bastards who actually cause most of the accidents instead of this thinly-viled, stereotyping, unsubstantiated bullshit.
<has a Japanese wife with full no-claims bonus>
Edited to be less contentious

I think the point is that we are talking about Asian drivers in Australia, rather than Asian drivers in Asian countries.
Whether it's the system of getting a license that is too easy, or the driving conditions here are too different to cope, I don't know.
I agree that most Sydney drivers are f*cked. I have spent time in Europe and they are much more courteous and generally more aware of the traffic and road conditions that we are here.
It really opens your eyes.
Having said that I stand by what I said, and I am most definitely not a racist.
cheers
