I would love to see Dukes but realistically who do you think would be the best striker for Sydney FC?

Although obviously any of us would love Vidukes, Kewell or Aloisi in the Sydney colours come August, I think we have to be realistic in saying it aint happening for a few years at least. The same can most likely be said for McDonald, whose European career is just starting to blossom. He's not on the list but my vote goes to Paul Agostino-a well-known Socceroo coming towards the end of his career. 1860 Munich are a sinking ship at the moment, in real danger of a shock relegation to Bundesliga 3. I doubt he's earning much more than one of the better paid A-League players would, and I bet he dosn't want to be a part of such a relegation dogfight. Something tells me it's time to come home ;D Oh and god knows he's miles better than David Zdrillic-worst excuse for a player i've ever seen

I think that if Zdrilic came back to the A-League he would become the country's top scorer ... he is far better than Milicic

Fantasy World: Aloisi Realistically: Agostino or Zdrillic will come back to Sydney FC. I'll stick my leg out and say our marquee player will be a striker.

I've put my vote in for the big man ;D but realistically, I can't see any of those guys playing for the new competition until it's been up and running for a couple of years and has established itself.

I don't mean to be rude but putting Kewell (who isn't a striker) and Viduka shows that somebody has been hitting the hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Zdrillic would be at about the level we could maybe achieve.

Adelaide United want him but Adelaide City have him tied for 5 year contract...therefore want a ridiculous fee!

I voted Holman, because he is young and has sumwhat of an aura about him. He would be in it for years to come. But I cant see him coming back as he is playing regular first team football with excelsior (the sister club of Feyenoord) and actually has a contract with Feynoord. What about Archie Thompson ??
