As I said in the original thread, I'm happy to referee the match. I'm registered with the KDSRA and while I'm not the fittest or best, I do know the rules and happy to officiate the match.
Should one not be needed, I also used to be a defender, though haven't played this season.
Either way, I'll be there.
Cheers
Ben

We're most likely going to have a referee prepared (ie we've already bribed one) so you should just sign yourself up in the team. As we confirm this we'll let you know though.

i think i wrote "Mark (might not be available)" on that list thingo... meaning that Saturday is the weekend after my comp's regular season finishes, so I'm not sure yet if I have a match that day... There's probably plenty of people already, but if you need someone I'm usually sweeper or anywhere in the midfield

We probably need another 5-6 players, specifically a couple of central defenders, bigger the better, a couple of midfielders and at least one more striker. so yes, Footballer, theFC, albinomonkey if you're up for it you're in.
4-3-3 is what i'm thinking, 2 wingers and a target man up front, a mobile midfielder who can push up when we have posession, and a flat back four with two big lads in the central places and the quicker lads on the sides.
I'll put up a first-attempt teamsheet tomorrow when I've gone over everyones preferences properly, I know its a friendly but i really dont think we want to get gubbed 27-0

I would have thought the best strategy would have been to get the opposition drunk, not work on the formation. I can play as well, but don't expect to see too many metres being covered at what resembles a quick pace.
