Haven't really followed the young boys. How are we ranked compared to the rest of the teams in our pool?

I thought they played better than the Socceroos did yesterday. Not that hard to achieve though.

Basically the young roos are seasoned veterans when it comes to youth world cups. They have played the most games in under 20 cups than any other nation other than Brazil believe it or not. Benin were making their debut. They should have gotten pumped. But they outplayd us at times dammit.

They had 2 or 3 solid chances in the last half hour and failed to put them away. Was frustating to watch.

I was extremely frustrated this whole weekend. Australia was lucky to beat NZ 1-0, Youngsters got a 1-1 with Bloody-Benin and my team lost 2-1. The ref gave penalty in 85th minute for a handball which never was. If parra lose v Newcastle I am considering giving up supporting sport altogether.

the same problem that been plauging us for years. we need strikers who can actually put the ball in the back of the net on more than regular occasions not sure what the formation was for the young boys but i believe 1 up front just doesnt work full stop...

from a sydneyfc perspective i thought timpano was woeful
he was slaughtered down his wing and at fault for the goal
