Is the court blind? Do they really want to see people killed or good family fun ruined by louts?
Taking them and possibly Bonnyrigg out of the Premier League has got to have been the smartest move out of a short list of possibilities, given that the problem's not with football but with ethnic stupidity. By removing them from the comp it would become clear that these people would fight each other wherever they are, be it on the street or in a bank queue.
In a moment of stupidity by the judge the problem has become a "football problem" again.
What else would a "fair hearing" found anyway. The same results would have been derived.

they were reinstated because like all aussie police and shit they wernt given a chance to tell there side of the story and wernt given a fair trial......and if i remember correctly that is against the law. Funny how all of a sudden u believe that they should be banned without a fair trial.........

If they banned them correctly then they would have stayed banned...but the football authorites are still trying to un-learn the old ways.

Its called 'due process'. You may want to live in an arbitary society without due process but I, and millions of others, do not.

Well I agree with everyone that due process is good and all, I'm just questioning the wisdom of re-instating them given the further hearing would have found the same results.
Re-instating them would bring about more trouble than it's worth... there's a real chance that these sides will meet in the finals.
An independent enquiry was conducted. It's not like Soccer NSW sat down and decided on their own.
All I want to say is that this is not a football problem. Football should not be used as a scapegoat and it's right to take the problem out of football, then maybe the problem might be addressed the right way.
For our game to move foward bad elements like this, who really have nothing to do with football, have to be removed without delay. They've dragged us all back for too long.

Perhaps the way forward for next season is to start a completely new state competition and invite applications from clubs to take part. And the say no to Sydney United and Bonnyrig.

This would make a lot of sense. Sport should be played for sport, not used as some vehicle to fight out some long-expired rivalry that should've been fought out on a different continent and years ago. There was talk of revamping the state competition in a way not dissimilar to the national comp, but this time regional associations, instead of ethnic groups, would be invited to apply.

Just wanted to add that I am glad that they have been re-instated. They were not given the full hearing and Soccer NSW simply made a dumb decision.
Both clubs have pleaded with Soccer NSW to stop fans from attending to these games yet this was refused. I understand we want ppl at the game, but if it means no trouble at one of the games, then its easier to ban ppl from attending that game than to kick out these teams. Sydney United has been playing for decades and has kept football alive in this country and now morons like you want to kick them out. Just remember that Sydney United has developed players such as - Zdrilic, - Kalac, - Popovic, - Slater - Bosnic The club is obviously doing something right.
